New York City – Sept 2015 | Making of a Diva

So I get this call from my cousin one day and he says. OH, By the way…. I bought two tickets to Madonna in September and you are going. I’m like Oh. Okay. And this is how that went down…..

I am traveling to NY. I become a Junior TSA officer. That was exciting. I meet all sorts of interesting people….including who I swear was the REAL Celeste Rosenberg. She was a hot mess. But very entertaining. Once I landed in NY I got to catch a cab because my cousin didn’t think I was important enough to meet at the airport….(that train of thought would soon change….) And “Celeste” wasn’t too keen on my Madonna book!

Day 1: Let’s get Creative!

We go to this place to eat and we are sitting there watching this guy OBVIOUSLY trying to get noticed by someone at our table (not me…so…)

We were trying to decide what we were going to do my first night in the big city. We both looked at eachother: Duh…..

So that was day 1. See how this is going to pan out? So on to….

Day 2. Let’s get all Touristy and shit.

Day 2 we went out to sight see a bit. First the subway….

After we emerged from the ground we saw some buildings…some people…and I tried Sushi for the first time…and didn’t die. But NY has culture, nature and history…all rolled up into one….

So as we are walking around we are like HEY! Let’s go see the Statue of Liberty….I mean why not!!!

So we went to Liberty Island and then stopped off at Ellis Island….Note the sequence of pictures that depicts the struggle of the immigrant as they leave their home land to come to America…
